Dolores Fire upgrades vehicles

Grants cover half the cost for truck, ambulance

The Dolores Fire Protection District recently purchased this 2015 EONE fire truck. These fire and rescue volunteers have been training on the upgraded equipment. The Dolores Fire Protection District recently purchased this 2015 ambulance/rescue vehicle to replace one that is 31 years old. Half of the $170,000 pricetag was paid by a grant from the Colorado EMS Provider. Trained volunteers will operate the new equipment, including (L-R) Chris Barber, Jennifer Gaddis, Jeremy Gonzales, and RJ Cross.
