Dolores Fire gets good rating for insurance

Survey shows high marks for equipment, training
The Dolores Fire Protection District recently purchased this 2015 E-One firetruck. These fire and rescue volunteers have been training on the upgraded equipment: back row, Terrel Wells, RJ Cross, Jeremy Gonzales and Kim Jones; front row, Chief Mike Zion, Tiffany Cross, Frank Lopez and Amy Ross.
The Dolores Fire Protection District recently purchased this 2015 ambulance/rescue vehicle to replace one that is 31 years old. Half the $170,000 price tag was paid by a grant from the Colorado EMS Provider. Trained volunteers will operate the new equipment, including Chris Barber, Jennifer Gaddis, Jeremy Gonzales and RJ Cross.
