About: Shannon Livick moved back to the Montezuma County area in 2006 after growing up here. She attended Dolores schools and graduated from Cortez High School. She earned a degree in journalism from California State university, Chico in 2000. She has worked at numerous papers in California including the Tahoe World, Lodi News-Sentinel and the Visalia Times-Delta. She was also the editor of the Tulare Advance-Register.
