Colorado Highway 151 was closed briefly Friday near Allison to allow a Flight For Life helicopter to land. A patient was ultimately taken by ground ambulance to Mercy Regional Medical Center, but the helicopter flight crew assisted with care.
Jordan Foster holds and comforts a young deer Wednesday that was hit on north Main Avenue, breaking its back legs. The deer was later put down because of its injuries. Foster, who works at Adventure Inn, carried the deer off the road.
