The Mildred Friendship Club awarded a $500 scholarship to Montezuma-Cortez High School senior, Justice Ramos. Justice has excelled not only in academics but also in wrestling and track. Here he is being recognized by Montezuma-Cortez HS Educator and Track Coach, Mr. Bob Archibeque and Mildred Friendship Club President, Judy Morris, for his “success not only in the athletic arena but in the classroom where he has shown his instructors and has demonstrated to his peers that he strives to succeed in all areas of the school environment.’ The scholarship will go towards books and tuition to the college of Justice’s choice.
Each year the Mildred Friendship Club provides an opportunity to area high school seniors to pursue a higher education. We would like to congratulate Justice on his achievements and look forward to his future endeavors.
