Update: Doe Canyon Fire grows to 210 acres in Southwest Colorado

The Doe Canyon Fire burning southeast of Dove Creek has grown to 210 acres. The wildfire, sparked by lightning last week, is 7% percent contained.

The Doe Canyon Fire, burning about 4 miles south of Glade Lake in Dolores County, was an estimated 210 acres Tuesday.
The Doe Canyon Fire is burning near Glade Lake in the San Juan National Forest and has grown to 210 acres. Sixteen firefighters and three fire engines are on the scene.
Community members may see additional smoke starting Sunday from a possible prescribed burn at Lake Canyon, which burned Sunday through Monday.
