12:30 a.m.: A man at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served a warrant.
1:44 a.m.: A man was pulled over for a nonworking taillight in the 29000 block of U.S. Highway 160 and arrested on a warrant from Durango.
Wednesday, Aug. 15
4:12 p.m.: A man in the Montezuma County Combined Court holding cell, 865 N. Park St., was served a warrant and taken to jail.
3:28 p.m.: A pickup truck and Montezuma County gravel truck collided head-on near Narraguinnep Reservoir on Colorado Highway 184 west of Dolores. The Colorado State Patrol took over the case.
6:19 p.m.: A man in custody at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served two warrants.
6:44 p.m.: A woman in custody at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was served a warrant.
Thursday, Aug. 16
4:42 p.m.: A man in Montezuma County Combined Court, 865 N. Park St., was served a mittimus and taken to jail.
9:29 p.m.: A man was pulled over in the 27790 block of Colorado Highway 184 and cited for driving with a restrained/revoked license and failing to stop for a traffic control device. The vehicle was left at the scene.
Friday, Aug. 17
6:11 p.m.: A lockbox was found in Riverside Park, 1323 Railroad Ave., in Dolores, but its owner could not immediately be found.
10:48 p.m.: A man with a Mexico driver’s license was pulled over in the 16000 block of Colorado Highway 145 and cited for driving without a valid driver’s license. He stated that he had been in the U.S. for three years.
11:44 p.m.: A man called 911 to report that he had become lost in the Boggy Draw recreation area, and a deputy kept him on his cell phone in an attempt to find a common landmark, and used his siren as a audio cue. United Search and Rescue then assisted in the search, located the man and returned him to his vehicle at the trailhead.
Saturday, Aug. 18
9:11 p.m.: A woman was arrested at a residence in the 16500 block of County Road 23 on a warrant for failure to appear.
Sunday, Aug. 19
6:25 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant for a parole violation at a residence in the 23700 block of County Road F.5.
Monday, Aug. 20
8:45 p.m.: A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
Tuesday, Aug. 21
12:17 p.m.: A man in the Montezuma County Combined Court holding cell, 865 N. Park St., was remanded into custody and taken to the county jail.
12:39 p.m.: A man in the Montezuma County Combined Court holding cell, 865 N. Park St., was remanded into custody and taken to the county jail.
1:03 p.m.: A woman accompanied by her mother visited in the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office lobby, 730 E. Driscoll St., reported that her ex-husband had choked and threatened her earlier in the day. She declined to press charges or undergo an examination. Later in the day, the deputy said, he heard on the scanner that the ex-husband had been remanded from the court and the woman’s restraining order was approved.
