K9 Search and Rescue serves breakfast

K9 Search and Rescue relies on donations for its operations.
Two pancake fundraisers are planned for the Dolores-based volunteer organization, which participates in missing person searches throughout the region.
On Aug. 3-4, staff will serve breakfast at the at the Mancos Fire Department, 41595 U.S. Highway 160, as part of the Tri-State Firemen’s Association Convention.
On Aug. 11, staff will serve breakfast at the Escalante Days celebration in Dolores at the K9 Search and Rescue headquarters next to the Dolores Fire Station, 47 Central Ave. Serving starts at 6 a.m., and the cost is $5 per plate.
