Court upholds in-stream flows for lower Dolores River

Water district lawsuit against in-stream flows fails
Bureau of Land Management river rangers teamed up with the Dolores River Boating Advocates and the Tamarisk Coalition to conduct a campsite inventory on the lower Dolores River a few years ago.
Biologists with Colorado Parks and Wildlife regularly conduct native fish counts on the Dolores River below McPhee Dam.
Campsites were cleared and signs installed by the Bureau of Land Management and volunteers at campsites on the Lower Dolores River in 2015. The section from below the confluence with the San Miguel to Gateway is rarely run, but has boatable flows every year for 4-6 weeks.
