Bealls has re-opened after being shut down when fire next door caused smoke damage to the department store. District manager Rick Kyle, center, said, “We’re very, very happy to be back in Cortez. We love Cortez and we wanted to see how quickly we could get back in business.” The new Cortez manager is Jennifer Hermanns, to the right of Kyle. Bealls is celebrating their re-opening with a month-long sale in August.
