Colorado’s Nick Gould breaks the Death Ride time record

Benefit ride loops through rugged San Juan Mountains
Nick Gould gave 100% into every last climb from Mancos to Durango in an effort to beat the previous record time of 12 hours, 15 minutes, and he did with a time of 12:13:20.
One of his biggest supporters, Nick Gould’s mother-in-law Cheryle Brandsma was there to congratulate him on a record finish at the Death Ride Challenge.
The 225-mile route for the Death Ride Challenge. The loop includes Silverton, Ouray, Ridgway, Telluride, Dolores, Mancos and Durango. It goes over numerous mountain passes and includes nearly 16,500 feet of climbing.
