As citizens of Re-1, we cannot afford to miss the opportunity that 3B presents. The cost of matching the BEST grant funds is very reasonable. The absolute maximum payback specified in the ballot question is $1,855,000 per year, but the actual repayment will be close to $1,530,000 as current interest rates are extremely low. The oil and gas industry in Re-1 will support about 65 percent of that money, its share being $994,500 per year. Residents, business owners and agriculture, will only be asked to pick up $535,500 per year.
As we have been informed, a home valued at $100,000 will owe an additional $23.40 per year, which is less than $2 per month. A home valued at $150,000 will owe an additional $35.10 per year, and a home valued at $200,000 will owe an additional $46.80 per year.
Be positive! Do the right thing! Vote for 3B!
