Editor:
If you were thinking about abstaining from the election this year, because you felt like neither candidate is one you can support, please consider this:
Do you consider yourself pro-life, pro-traditional values?
Where do our candidates, not just for the White House, but for the Senate and the House of Representatives, stand on these issues?
Are you content to let our nation and our great state of Colorado default to the candidates and the issues that do not respect the sanctity of human life or Judeo-Christian values?
This is a values war, and it is not just about the next election and how it affects our own generation, but about how it affects the generations that follow. Do we really want to be passive at a time in history when so much hangs in the balance? What kind of legacy do we want to leave our children and our grandchildren?
Please get out and vote your values. Your vote really does count; your vote really does make a difference. Get out and make your voice heard. As long as we live in a free country, voting is not just our right, it is our civic duty, as citizens of the United States, and as citizens of the state of Colorado.
