Voters cast ballots in Cortez Fire, Mancos Conservation district elections

Voter Puff Bridgewater cast her choice for board members on the Cortez Fire Protection District during the election today. The polling location is at the Montezuma County Annex, 107 N. Chestnut St., from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. By 10:30 a.m., 40 people had voted, officials said. The Mancos Conservation District is also holding a mill levy election today. Ballots can be dropped off at the district office at 604 Bauer Ave., Mancos, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
