Editor:
From the tone of the letters lately, there appears to be a little confusion with the priority of subjects. There are about three key items that are facing the American people on this fine autumn day in October: the economy, jobs and another item that has the populace really angry on this day that being that we, the people are very angry and concerned with the safety and wellbeing of our people overseas in foreign countries. To have any civilian or military facility attacked, overrun, our flag torn down and destroyed, our people killed and dragged through city streets like a piece of garbage, injured, kept captive for any period of time is beyond the thinking of all Americans.
If you are considering the election by alternative energy only, you had better sit down and rethink your position. Alternative energy has been tried in all areas of our country for the last 25 years. It will come about in fair time. Since the Clean Air Act in the early 1970s, the United States has made more progress than other nations around the world. In due time we shall work out the bugs to have more alternative energy. Right now, there are more pressing items to consider.
