Editor:
That is the question: whether tis nobler in the mind to forego the BEST grant money (which is not funded by taxpayer dollars) and continue with our 45-year-old, out-of-date and unsecure high school, or to take the funds and match them with a modest property tax increase of about $25 per $100,000 of valuation per year and thereby obtaining a new, modern, state-of-art high school campus with new equipment and all the facilities located on one campus: that is the question.
The old high school has performed its task. It has graduated tens of thousands of students, but it is time for it to sleep. To sleep, to be removed, ay, theres the rub. For in this change what new things may come? This is a big decision for our small community, and it must give us pause. Theres the respect that makes us pause. Let us travel to the undiscoverd country and provide the high school campus for the next 30,000-plus students. Tis devoutly to be wishd.
Thank you, my high school English teacher for opening my eyes to the wonderful words of Shakespeare. Tis time for 3B and all the benefits in exchange for one evening dining out a month. Tis time for 3B.
