I have always supported education taxes since others supported me when I was in school. When I moved to Cortez in 1999, my son was already in college so he never attended public schools in Cortez. However, good public schools are critically important for the economic development of a community. Without great schools, we cannot compete for jobs and new businesses and retain good doctors.
So this time you can improve the school district and get a new high school at half price. This chance wont come again. I support 3B to grow our town and improve the education of our students at a great price. Lets not let this deal pass us by.
