Dear Editor:



I would like to take this opportunity to encourage the community of Dolores to vote in favor of the 3C initiative on the ballot this fall. For the past 23 years I have had the pleasure of working for the Dolores School District and more importantly with the students of Dolores. Our science program is very strong and it takes both staff and students to make it so.

Our young scientists have consistently performed at a high level on our state mandated tests. With the passing of 3C, our school would be able to replace an antiquated science building with one that would allow us to not only continue this success but to further advance toward improving our science instruction.

The ballot measure 3C is a great investment in our students’ futures, but in the future of our community as well. Thank you for voting.
