Tuesday, Oct. 9 to Friday, Oct. 12: Staff training from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Volunteers are invited to any or all of this training.
Thursday, Oct. 11: Bridges Out of Poverty training with Mollie Woodard from Homeward Bound, the shelter in Grand Junction. Volunteers are welcome as well. It will be at First National Bank from 1 to 5 p.m., please RSVP.
Sunday, Oct. 14: The Bridge Shelter open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is invited to tour the shelter and meet the staff. There will be a blessing ceremony and refreshments provided.
Monday, Oct. 15: The shelter officially opens.
