The Community Foundation of Southwest Colorado has scheduled a five-city tour for April 17-18 to discuss opportunities and resources available to nonprofits across Southwest Colorado.
Topics will include nonprofit economic impact research specific to the region, early planning for Southwest Colorado Gives Day, Southwest Rural Philanthropy Days, Ballantine Family Fund grant opportunities, the Making a Difference Speaker Series, and ways to stay connected for resources.
The following one-hour meetings are available:
Pagosa Springs: April 17, 10-11 a.m., Ross Aragon Community Center, 451 Hot Springs Blvd.Bayfield: April 17, 1-2 p.m.,Pine River Public Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive.Cortez: April 18, 9-10 a.m., Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St.Mancos: April 18, 11 a.m. to noon, Mancos Public Library, 211 W. First St.Durango: April 18, 2-3 p.m., Community Room at First National Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St.The discussions will be facilitated by Briggen Wrinkle, executive director of the Community Foundation. “We offer professional development and grants support to build the capacity of nonprofits across our region,” she said. “Helping nonprofits to fulfill their missions in turn helps the broader community.”
