The San Juan National Forest’s Dolores Ranger District will open the main McPhee boat ramp to motorized vessels on April 14.
Hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until May 1, then 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Motorized boats must be inspected for mussels prior to launch.
On May 1, the House Creek boat ramp will open. Hours will be Friday-Monday 6 a.m.-8 p.m.

On Wednesday, there will be a public meeting about the 2018 McPhee Reservoir boating season, at the Cortez Conference Center Holiday Inn at 7 p.m.
Robert Walters, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, will present threats to Colorado and the West from the invasive quagga and zebra mussels.
Representatives from the San Juan National Forest, Dolores Water Conservancy District, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Bureau of Reclamation, and Montezuma County will address Watercraft Inspection and Decontamination Station schedules and other plans for use and access to McPhee in 2018.
