2012 marks the 110th anniversary of 4-H. National 4-H Week is the week of October 1-6. During this week, local 4-H clubs will have window displays throughout the business community. In order to promote the 4-H program, displays will encourage youth and volunteers alike to Join the Revolution of Responsibility.
On Saturday, Oct. 13, 4-H will celebrate their annual Achievement Night at the Montezuma County Annex Building. The night will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a chili supper, and at 7 p.m. the Achievement Program will begin. This is a celebration of achievement for the entire 4-H program, as the organization becomes another year older and remains the number one youth organization in the United States.
Contact the Montezuma County Extension Office at 565-3123 for more information on how to join 4-H.
