Members of the Montelores Catholic Community walk on their annual Good Friday pilgrimage in which they walk in prayer and meditate on “the Stations of the Cross and the last hours of the death of Jesus,” according to Father Pat Valdez. “Pilgrimage is one of the practices of the church to go from one place to another in prayer, and so we walk praying for ourselves, for others,” Valdez said. “It is an expression of faith and love of God.”
