This months’ character word at Dolores Elementary School is respect

Peyton Hill (3rd grade, Mrs. Neeley) Peyton is always respectful in class. She raises her hand when she has something to share so that she does not interrupt another classmate. She shows respect by the way she talks and interacts with others; her words are kind and friendly, never mean or bossy. We are lucky to have Peyton in our school to set such a great example!
Layne Mattausch (3rd grade, Mrs. Elder) Layne is always very kind and polite to other people in all situations. Not only does he show respect to others, but for his learning environment as well by being on-task, having materials ready, and making sure he is doing what is expected. I admire the way that he never talks out of turn in class, never whines, but always does his best. He is a super part of our school and our class, and has a great smile!
