On behalf of For Pets Sake Humane Society, Id like to sincerely thank the Cortez Journal, the Durango Herald and sponsors of Saturdays (9/22/12) insert of local pets looking for forever homes! We hope families and individuals looking for new companions will take a look at these wonderful cats and dogs. Unfortunately, it highlights the ongoing need for spaying and neutering of cats and dogs in the Four Corners area. For Pets Sake has grant money from several grantors which can help with the costs of spaying and neutering cats and dogs which will help to prevent unwanted litters of kittens and puppies in Montezuma and Dolores counties that may wind up in future editions of local papers.
