Carrie Summers Baikie, having lived in the Mancos Valley for 21 years, became a realtor with The Wells Group Real Estate Brokerage in Durango in June 2011. Her main focus is on Mancos and she can be found doing business at the Mancos coffee shops most mornings. Last week the Durango Association of Realtors named her 2012 Rookie Of The Year. Carrie, a single mom of three, is also passionate about volunteering with Mancos School PTA, Valley Inn Nursing Home, Adaptive Sports in Durango, and Mancos Farmers Market.
