2016: A river of joy and sorrow in Dolores

The McPhee Trail was finished this summer with views of the reservoir that includes boats on the lake.

The Bureau of Reclamation contracted to direct water into the inlet for the ponds that prevent mud flats along McPhee Reservoir.
The two ponds that were built to help prevent mud flat when McPhee Reservior is low have about 300 dead fish after the winter ice melted this year.
