The Animas Valley Grange will host a grafting workshop for apples at 10 a.m. March 10.
Jude and Addie Schuenemeyer of the Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project will conduct the workshop at the grange, 7271 County Road 203.
Participants will learn the valuable skill of grafting and take home four heritage apple trees. Tools and materials will be provided, or bring scions from a favorite tree.
The workshop costs $45 for non-MORP members and $35 for members.
