Register to vote

To register to vote in the Montezuma County primary elections, go to www.sos.state.co.us and click on the “Elections” tab, then the “Voters” tab. To register in person, go to the Montezuma County Clerk and Recorder’s Office at 140 W. Main St., Cortez. Unaffiliated voters can vote in one major party’s primary, but if a single person completes ballots for both parties, neither ballot will be counted.
