4:09 p.m.: A man was remanded into custody from Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., in reference to a DUI case.
8:02 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of theft in the 24000 block of County Road N, Lewis. A woman claimed $325 in cash had been stolen from a building on her property but she did not know who would have access to the building. She said she wanted to make a report for tax purposes. The case remains under investigation.
11:04 p.m.: Deputies contacted a motorcycle driver near the intersection of Weeminuche Drive and Morning Star Lane, Towaoc, after observing him driving with no headlights or license plate. The man reportedly had no driver’s license, registration or insurance. Deputies turned the case over to Bureau of Indian Affairs agents.

2:32 a.m.: A man was served with a warrant for failure to appear at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
2:35 a.m.: A man was served with a warrant for failure to comply at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
8:42 a.m.: A woman was served with a warrant for failure to appear at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
11:21 a.m.: Deputies responded to a report of theft in the 11000 block of County Road 22. A man said prescription medication valued at $8 was delivered to his residence on Feb. 13, while he was away from home, but by the time he got there on Feb. 18, it was gone. Deputies closed the case due to a lack of leads.
10:31 p.m.: A woman was arrested in the 36000 block of U.S. Highway 160 on suspicion of DUI and failing to drive in a single lane after being pulled over for driving too close to a pickup truck while passing. She was cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital due to severe intoxication.

10:01 a.m.: A woman was arrested at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., on a warrant for failure to comply.

Thursday, March 1
10:28 a.m.: A man was remanded into custody from Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., for contempt of court.
11:30 a.m.: A man was remanded into custody from Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., due to a probation revocation.
1:13 p.m.: A man was cited in the 7000 block of County Road 21 on suspicion of driving without insurance, failing to provide a child restraint and speeding. He was reportedly pulled over for driving 54 mph in a 40 mph zone, and had an unrestrained 3-year-old in the front passenger seat.
2:56 p.m.: A man was served with a warrant for violation of bond conditions at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
5:01 p.m.: A man was arrested at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., on a warrant for failure to comply.
8:16 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of drugs found at Cortez Mini Storage, 6894 County Road 24. A woman claimed she had found a bag of meth next to a baby diaper while she was cleaning up trash near a storage unit. The bag reportedly contained a white residue, but not enough for deputies to test it. Deputies forwarded the case to Montezuma County Social Services.
8:20 p.m.: A man was served with a warrant for failure to appear at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
Friday, March 2
10:14 a.m.: A man was cited for speeding near the intersection of County Road 33 and Colorado Highway 184.
3:57 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 200 block of West Seventh Street, Cortez, on a warrant for failure to appear on a local felony charge.
Saturday, March 3
12:28 a.m.: Deputies responded to a report of a missing person from Bayard, New Mexico. A woman reported her juvenile son had run away and she believed he might be at a house in Dolores. Deputies located the boy within an hour at a house near a possible address the woman had given them. Montezuma County Social Services took him into custody while his mother traveled to pick him up.
Sunday, March 4
10:07 a.m.: A man was issued a summons in the 2000 block of U.S. Highway 160 on suspicion of operating an uninsured vehicle after he was pulled over for weaving. He was given a verbal warning for the traffic offense and for failing to provide registration.
12:53 p.m.: A woman was issued a summons on suspicion of speeding and failing to provide proof of insurance in the 10000 block of County Road 25 after she was pulled over for speeding.
