It was very gratifying to see the four very good letters on the second amendment in the Aug. 30 issue of the Journal. The main problem with trying to explain the very simple statement of the Second Amendment to an overly educated liberal is that its a lot like trying to explain barbed wire to a fence post. The typical response is, Dont try to confuse me with the facts; my mind is made up.
