The Montezuma School to Farm Project is holding its second annual Grow-a-Row fundraiser.
The goal is 300 pumpkins of any variety.
According to a news release, School to Farm is seeking gardeners and farmers to grow an extra row of pumpkins to be donated to its fall festival fundraiser. The pumpkins will be sold to support the organization’s garden sites and education programs.
“With your help, last year’s Grow-A-Row fundraiser was a success,” Maryssa Schlough, Kemper school garden coordinator said in a news release. “We are able to raise money to buy essential classroom and production supplies for our newest school garden site, Manaugh Elementary.”
According to Schlough, the organization sold 100 pumpkins last year.
To participate, email [email protected] and let the organization know how many pumpkins the participant will grow for the project.
