Wow, what is this country coming to when a senseless and unjust crime such as arson happens in a place where small-town unity is key to the heartbeat of the community?
Im more than sad about the letter, Ashamed to be from Dolores. Im downright ticked! What a generally broad statement from a small-minded voice of opinion.
Someone lost their business after putting forward huge effort to put a little shine and dignity back into a historical building. Countless relics that can never be replaced are lost forever. The beautiful gallery next door that I was so excited to have in town went up in flames as well. Several people lost their jobs. So many people lost a fun, comfortable and welcoming place to go and catch up on the latest word or to play a friendly game of pool or to just unwind some.
The state of the world does not ride on the back of local watering hole.
