Martin DeYoung, 58, of Dolores, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal mischief under $500. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with suspended imposition, and to 18 months of supervised state probation. He was ordered to pay $1,187.50 in fines and costs. Defendant must complete inpatient alcohol treatment to avoid jail time within six months and provide proof to the court in exchange of dismissal of case #12M227 and 12M383. He must obtain domestic violence and substance abuse evaluations and complete all treatment. He must undergo sobriety monitoring as required by probation. Defendant must submit a written apology to the victim through probation. Defendant shall not contract any financial obligations without approval of his probation officer and/or collections investigator.

Anthony R. Cruz, 21, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to pay $536 in fines and costs. Defendant is no longer required to report to pretrial services.
Veronica Salazar, 32, of Mancos, pleaded guilty to one count of driving under restraint alcohol-related. She was sentenced to serve 30 days in jail beginning on Aug. 18, 2012, and was ordered to pay $214.50 in fines and costs.
Juanita N. Yazzie, 31, of Bloomfield, N.M., pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired. This is defendants second DWAI. She was sentenced to 365 days in jail with suspended imposition, and to 24 months of supervised state probation to be transferred to New Mexico through interstate compact. She was ordered to pay $2,198.50 in fines and costs and must perform 48 hours of useful public service/community service by July 14, 2013. Defendant must attend Victim Impact Panel, Level II education and 86 hours of therapy Track D. She must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol use. All standard conditions of probation apply, including no alcohol or illegal drug use. Defendant is to follow all conditions of probation. She received 10 days credit for time served, with an additional 365 days suspended imposition as a condition of completing probation successfully. An additional $300 fine is suspended as a condition of completing probation successfully. She must engage in treatment within 15 days of sentencing or jail. Defendant is no longer under the supervision of pretrial services.
Christopher L. Renfro, 31, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired. This is defendants second DWAI. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, with an additional 365 days in jail with suspended imposition, and to 24 months of supervised state probation. He was ordered to pay $998.50 in fines and costs and must perform 48 hours of useful public service/community service by July 17, 2013 with proof filed with the court. Defendant must attend Victim Impact Panel, Level II education and 68 hours of therapy Track C. He must undergo an enhanced outpatient program and complete the Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving program. He must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol use, and must engage in treatment within 15 days of sentencing or jail release. Defendant is to serve 10 days in jail with an additional 365 days jail suspended imposition as a condition of completing probation successfully, as well as an additional $300 fine. Defendant must attend Victim Impact Panel, Level II education and 86 hours of therapy Track D. She must undergo an enhanced outpatient program and complete the Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving program. She must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol use, and must engage in treatment within 15 days of sentencing or jail release. Defendant is to serve 15 days in jail with 1 day credit for time served for a total of 14 days, with an additional 365 days jail suspended imposition as a condition of completing probation successfully. He received 41 days credit for time served, and was sentenced to an additional 365 days in jail with suspended imposition, and to 24 months of supervised state probation to be transferred through interstate compact to Arizona. He was ordered to pay $1,353.50 in fines and costs and must perform 48 hours of useful public service/community service by July 14, 2013 with proof filed with the court. Defendant must attend Victim Impact Panel if available in Kayenta, Ariz., Level II education and 68 hours of therapy Track C. He must undergo an enhanced outpatient program and complete the Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving program if available in Kayenta. He must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol use, and must engage in treatment within 15 days of sentencing or jail release. He must resolve an outstanding warrant from Ignacio and Flagstaff, Ariz. by the end of probation period. Defendant is to serve 10 days in jail with 41 days credit for time served, for a total of 0 days to serve at this time. An additional 365 days jail is suspended imposition as a condition of completing probation successfully. He is to report to probation immediately upon release from jail to be interstate compact transfer to Arizona and to obtain a travel permit. Defendant is no longer required to report to pretrial services.
Joseph Fran Maestas, 60, of Mancos, pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence. This is defendants 13th DUI. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with 34 days credit for time served. He received an additional 365 days in jail with suspended imposition, and 48 months of supervised private probation. He was ordered to pay $3,460.50 in fines and costs and must perform 120 hours of useful public service/community service by July 14, 2014. Defendant must attend Victim Impact Panel, Level II education and 86 hours of therapy Track D. He must undergo an enhanced outpatient program, inpatient treatment, and long-term intensive residential treatment program (STOUT) if unable to maintain sobriety and/or treatment throughout probation. He must complete the Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving program. Defendant must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol use, and must engage in treatment within 15 days of sentencing or jail release. Defendant is to serve 365 days in jail with 34 days credit for time served for a total of 331 days to serve at this time, with an additional 365 days jail suspended imposition as a condition of completing probation successfully. Defendant is no longer required to report to pretrial services.
Jose Magdaleno-Ramirez, 37, of Durango, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while ability impaired. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with suspended imposition, and to 12 months of supervised private probation. He was ordered to pay $791 in fines and costs and must perform 24 hours of useful public service/community service by July 14, 2013. Defendant must attend Victim Impact Panel and complete the Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving program as recommended by probation. He must obtain an alcohol evaluation through state probation and follow all recommendations for treatment. He must submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol use. All standard conditions of probation apply, including no alcohol or illegal drug use. Defendant is to follow all conditions of probation. If alcohol evaluation reflects prior DWAI or DUI convictions, case is subject to re-sentencing. Alcohol evaluation is to be completed within 90 days and proof must be filed with the court.

Glenn Nash, 24, of Grand Junction, Colo., pleaded guilty to one count of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to pay $536 in fines and costs.
Tamra Sanchez, 20, of Grand Junction, Colo., pleaded guilty to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was ordered to pay $131 in fines and costs.
Douglas N. Thatcher, 52, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces. He was ordered to pay $431 in fines and costs.
Kyle Randall Donald, 31, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of prohibited use of a weapon while drunk. He was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and was ordered to pay $479.50 in fines and costs. He was ordered to perform 60 hours of useful public service/community service by Aug. 15, 2013, and to provide proof to the court.
