Rubi Baldemore, 49, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of driving after revocation prohibited. He was sentenced to serve 180 days in jail and was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs.
TUESDAY, AUG. 7
Michael D. Vallejos, 40, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of reckless endangerment. He was sentenced to 12 months supervised state probation, and was ordered to pay $833 in fines and costs. All standard conditions of probation apply. Defendant must participate successfully in anger management and parenting classes. He must obtain an alcohol evaluation and follow all recommendations. He was ordered to report to his probation officer on this same date and to follow all recommendations of probation officer. Defendant is no longer under pretrial services supervision.
Dany Keith Foss, 31, of Mancos, pleaded guilty to one count of obstructing government operations and received a deferred sentence of 6 months unsupervised probation. He was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs. Defendant must violate no laws traffic or criminal, and must keep his address current with the court.
Devaney C. Mills, 48, of Towaoc, pleaded guilty to one count of protection order violation. He received 30 days credit for time served in jail, and was ordered to pay $187.50 in fines and costs.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 8
Daniel Kody Stephens, 19, of Dolores, pleaded guilty to one count of underage possession/consumption of alcohol. He received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised probation, and was ordered to pay $56 in fines and costs. He was ordered to complete 24 hours of useful public service/community service by Aug. 8, 2013 and to file proof of completion with the court. He must violate no laws traffic or criminal, and must keep his address current with the court. Defendant must obtain an alcohol evaluation and follow all treatment recommendations and file proof of this with the court.
Brent A. Walker, 47, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of 2nd degree criminal trespass into an enclosed/fenced property. He was sentenced to 6 months unsupervised probation, and was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs. Defendant was ordered to perform 96 hours of useful public service/community service by Feb. 7, 2013, and file proof of completion with the court. He must not violate any new laws. Restitution is open for 90 days.
THURSDAY, AUG. 9
Nicholas Jose Murray, 21, of Towaoc, pleaded guilty to one count of underage possession/consumption of alcohol. He was ordered to pay $336 in fines and costs, and to perform 24 hours of useful public service/community service by Aug. 9, 2013. Treatment that the defendant is obtaining through case in Towaoc will count towards this case.
