Ross and Donna Wright will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Aug. 6, 2012. Their family will be in town to celebrate the occasion, including their two daughters, Donna Sue and Alicia, and their families. Ross and Donna were married on Aug. 6, 1972, in Bakersfield, Calif. They were raised in the Midwest and relocated to California over 55 years ago where they had their family and successful careers. Ross worked as a CPA in several partnerships and Donna was an elementary school teacher. They both retired in 1987. For years they traveled the U.S. in their motor home and divided their time between Colorado, Arizona and California. They now reside in Cortez and Tonto Basin, Ariz., but no matter their location, they stay happy and busy organizing social events, attending exercise classes and volunteering.
