A few dozen people showed up outside U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton’s Durango office Tuesday to raise concerns about the repeal of the Affordable Care Act and public land policies, among other issues.
The event was organized by Indivisible-Durango, which said on it’s Facebook page it also was concerned with President Trump’s executive order on immigration.
A staff member at the office met with some representatives of the group, and later issued this email statement from the Republican congressman: “I am encouraged to see that many of my constituents are involved in the political process and are making sure their voices are heard on a variety of issues. I welcome their input.”
