Empire Electric Association is offering $1,000 scholarships for high school seniors planning to go to college and $500 scholarships for students pursuing a vocational/technical certificate as a lineman or other electrical related trade.
Six scholarships are available for adults who pursue further education. Applicants must be EEA members, a spouse or a dependent of a member.
Applications must be received by Feb. 15.
High school seniors may pick up scholarship applications from their guidance counselor’s office, at EEA headquarters or at www.eea.coop/content/member-benefits.
Adult Scholarship Applications may be downloaded at www.eea.coop, or picked up at EEA headquarters at 801 N. Broadway, Cortez.
