Wells Fargo Blue Mountain District manager Jay Bugarin recently announced that 19 Southern Colorado nonprofits received a total of $25,000 in grants from the 24th annual Wells Fargo Community Assistance Fund.
“Working together to help those in need is at the heart of our communities and what makes these areas such a great places,” Bugarin said. “There are many small, local grassroots organizations here that play an important role in keeping these strong, vibrant communities. As part of our overall commitment to the community, we want to show these fine organizations we appreciate their efforts on behalf of all of us.”
The local organizations, based in Cortez, Delta, Dove Creek, Durango, Montrose, Pagosa Springs and Telluride, that received grant funding include: All American Families, Altrusa International Foundation, Archuleta County Victim Assistance Program, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Colorado, Companeros Four Corners Immigrant Resource Center, Delta County Meth Task Force, Delta County Search and Rescue, Four Corners Alliance For Diversity, Garden Project of Southwest Colorado, Gateway Residential Services, Haven House of Montrose, Onward A Legacy Foundation, Our Savior Lutheran Church and School, Pagosa Crisis Pregnancy Center, Reaching Out to Community and Kids, San Miguel Mentoring Program, Spark, True North Youth Program and Durango Women’s Resource Center.
