California Baptist Universitys singing ensemble Light is scheduled to perform on Wednesday, June 6 at 7 p.m.at the Mountain View Baptist Church in Dolores, 16302 County Road 30.5.
Light is comprised of students from the Collinsworth School of Music whose mission is to minister through their music. This is one of two small singing groups from California Baptist University that travels throughout the United States during the summer months to minister through their music at different summer camps and churches.
Light provides a fresh and exciting approach to music in a variety of styles. They combine musical variety with a high level of performance in their ministry.
Auditions will also be held for California Baptist University scholarship opportunities, following the concert, for all high school juniors, seniors, and junior college students interested in pursuing music at our four-year university.
