MesaVerde Pottery, located just east of Cortez at 27601 Highway 160, is open for the tourist season.
The long-time business was opened more than 25 years ago by Cortez natives U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton and his brother Joe Tipton. The store had been closed for the winter.
The stores hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. The store will have expanded hours later in the summer.
