The new Teen Computer Club will meet the first Wednesday of each month from 5 to 6:30p.m. Teens will meet in the Community Meeting Room at the Mancos Public Library, 211 E. First St., to work on various computer projects. All meetings of the group will have hands-on experience with digital devices, with a chance to disassemble, build, etc. At times regional computer geeks will visit and teach the group. These guest instructors will answer questions on specified topics for example animation, robotics, game development,and hacking.
At the meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 2, the plan is to disassemble computers and develop a plan to build a midrange gaming computer for the teen computing area.
