The Club 20 Montezuma County caucus has scheduled an informational meeting for Sept. 22, at Cortez City Hall.
Club members will have the opportunity to elect county representatives to serve on the Club 20 board of directors for the 2017-2019 term.
According to a Club 20 news release, guidelines for voting at the county caucus are as follows:
Club 20 members who have been members for at least 90 days prior to the caucus are entitled to vote in this process. To serve on the board, members must have belonged to Club 20 for at least six months prior to the caucus date.
Election to the board be for a two-year term.If you cannot attend, designate a member to vote your proxy. The designate must carry written proxy instructions with them, and no member may carry more than two proxy votes.Before the county caucus, Club 20 will hold a public informational meeting about CLUB 20’s most recent activities and hear from members about issues that are impacting the region.The meeting is scheduled for 7:30-9 a.m. at the Mesa Verde Room in City Hall, 123 Roger Smith Ave.
