Connect for Health Colorado “continues to serve as the go-to resource for Coloradans to purchase health insurance and get financial help to reduce costs. The next Open Enrollment Period is Nov. 1, 2017 to Jan. 12, 2018.”
That quotation is from the website connectforhealthcolorado.com, which is Colorado’s place to go for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).
Note that this enrollment period for Colorado is longer than the enrollment period under the federal government’s website, healthcare.gov, and is unique to Colorado. Coloradans can also apply here for Health First Colorado throughout the year, which is Colorado’s Medicaid Program. You can talk directly with people trained to assist you in choosing the proper plan for you and your family, as well as assistance in filling out forms. The phone number is (855)752-6749 (TTY mode at (855) 346-3432).
There are also enrollment centers around the state, though none closer to Cortez than Delta or Grand Junction from what I can glean from the website. Please use this valuable resource to procure health insurance for 2018.
