To all the people from other cities, states and countries that read The Journal:
Not all of us here label other human beings as “illegal.”
Not all of us will judge you by your country of origin, your race or your desire to find a better life (does the Statue of Liberty ring a bell?).
Not all of us want you to wear a yellow star or a scarlet letter.
Not all of us will label you for seeking sanctuary in a house of worship.
