I would like to thank the good citizens of Montezuma and Dolores counties for your support during my campaign for district attorney. I am disappointed to let you know that I am ending my run for DA. My experience with the Republican leaders and with the caucus and assembly process has left me disillusioned. With my commitment to my family and to my career as a prosecutor, I did not have the time to play the political game or to collect the necessary Republican signatures for a petition.
Again, I thank you, and I want to let you know that I am proud of the four years I was able to serve you as a prosecutor.
