It is obvious that the Cortez Journal is biased liberal left.
It is obvious the paper does not care for President Trump and is following suit with sympathy for lawlessness; the Journal only seems to publish letters to the editor that agree with it.
Siding with and supporting lawlessness, which is what Rosa Sabido has done, is not noble. Making excuses for her behavior and justifying it is dishonest.
The article printed in June (Journal, June 30) clearly spelled out why Immigration and Customs Enforcement is seeking to deport Rosa and for clear and obvious reasons. She has had much leniency and much time to comply, and grace periods.
The Mancos church may appear to be doing a kind deed in the community, however, they are in their own way supporting lawless behavior and sheltering a person who has willingly and knowingly broken a law.
I for one am tired of the way society and the liberal press twist reality to make it seem okay to be lawless and illegal, and show disdain and disregard (as well as twist the truth regarding ICE, our president and those who care enough about the country to respect moral right and wrong).
