Jacob Archibeque has been announced as Presidential Scholar at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction for the fall 2011 semester. Jacob earned a 4.00 GPA for the fall semester while majoring in kinesiology and completing his K-12 teaching certification. Jacob is a 2007 Montezuma-Cortez High School graduate employed by Montezuma-Cortez School District and hopes to utilize his degree as a full-time educator in fall 2012. Jacob is the son of Bob and Vicki Archibeque of Cortez. His proud grandparents are Ben and Florence Archibeque, and Ted and Barbara Baskett.
