The 95-acre 412 Fire continues to smolder in mixed conifer forests and heavy dead and downed timber, and San Juan National Forest fire crews continue to manage the lightning-caused fire, located 7 miles south of Rico.
However, because of the low level of fire activity, all trail and road closures, as well as the closure near the fire, have been lifted, according to a news release from the San Juan National Forest.
Occasional smoke will remain in the area over the upcoming weeks.
There are no fire restrictions on the San Juan National Forest. Information on current fire restrictions throughout Colorado, may be found at the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management website at: http://bit.ly/29yHKN6.
