A joint installation of the 2012 Masonic Lodge Officers for Cortez Lodge No. 133 and Rico Lodge No. 79 A.F. & A.M. was recently held in Cortez.
The following Masonic Brothers were installed for Cortez Lodge No. 133: R. Bruce Koons, Worshipful Master; Nathaniel Seeley, Senior Warden; Mark Martin, Junior Warden; George West, Treasurer; Clyde Moss, Secretary; Jerry Brooks, Senior Deacon; David Everett, Junior Deacon; J. D. Hurt, Senior Steward; Glen Fish, Junior Steward; C. Gordon Milligan, Chaplain; Charles Herndon, Marshal; and Norman Moss, Tiler.
The following Masonic Brothers were installed for Rico Lodge No. 79: Glen Fish, Worshipful Master; Ken Hazen, Senior Warden; Mark Martin, Junior Warden; Glen Baer, Secretary; and Jerry Brooks, Senior Deacon. Unable to attend were: Billy Graham, Treasurer; Peter Dumont, Junior Deacon; Larry Sanchez, Senior Steward; Phillip Waters, Junior Steward; Mickey Blowers, Chaplain; and Richard Lincoln, Tiler.
The ceremony was opened with the Posting of the Colors and Pledge of Allegiance by a Color Guard from the Ivanhoe Commandry No. 11 of Knights Templar, and was closed by members of Jobs Daughters Bethel No. 42 of Jobs Daughters International.
